Eric Cohen

Eric Cohen, a native of Brinson, GA, earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Georgia in 2000.  He has been an independent crop consultant for over 30 years assisting farmers in multiple counties produce successful crops using the latest technology and field data.  He is the owner of Cohen Crop Consulting.  Eric has been heavily involved in the pecan industry for over 20 years and has experience selling in both domestic and international markets.  He is the owner of Canopy Groves, LLC.  Since 2004, Eric has been selling real estate in Southwest Georgia specializing in farmland, hunting land, and timber tracts.  His role in agriculture allows him to easily connect those looking to buy or sell land.  He joined The Wright Group in 2021.

Eric is a graduate of Leadership Georgia and currently serves on the Board of Trustees.  He was named to UGA’s 40 Under 40 List in 2016 and serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Georgia Alumni Association.  In his community, Eric serves on the Tired Creek Lake Authority and serves as Chairman of Grady EMC’s Board of Directors.

He and his wife, Mollie, reside in Whigham, GA and have two children, Bradley and Elizabeth.  In his spare time, Eric can be found cheering on the Dawgs, turkey hunting, or fly fishing in the nearest creek.
